Low side pressure = 50 psi High side pressure = 160 psi This clearly means AC Compressor is worn out and Expansion Valve blocked & hence should be replaced and AC system flushing should be carried out.

Hi my smart fortwo has got a key icon instead of a cross in dash. Had a diagnostic machine on it. Followed durections..said it was cimplete..still nothing changed..

Repair done for this case: did full system flushing, replaced compressor and expansion valve. If you are on a low budget you can try your luck by performing full system flushing and replace compressor solenoid valve and hope it becomes ok. Otherwise, you will have to do the same repair as I did above. Do share your findings. Thanks!!

That happens to me and will happen to anyone that unlocks the car and does not start the car before 30 sec pass.. Just press one more time the unlock button and it will make a "peep" sound. After that sound turn your key and it will start

We don't actually used 'white' for foreigners... We use "serpo" which actually means yellow... Which often use as an abusive word or anything bad....

hello i have a same problem and i did what you said in your video but not success.
my levels are similar to this and it cools. what do you think the levels should be? if the exp valve is truly blocked why assume the compressor is bad as well?
mst3kpimp the perfect cooling (grill temp) of this car should be around 2 to 5°C. This is achieved when the LP side is 20 to 25 psi and HP side is approx 125 to 145 psi. If LP is anything above 25 but below 35 possibly your expansion valve is blocked while if it is above 35 you will have to replace both compressor and expansion valve. In both cases you have to do AC Flushing along with the replacement.

Yes, while pressing it twice the key should be present inside the ignition switch.

Before you plug your key, push the open button to unlock the car, then plug the key and start the car
The same problem I got on my SFF 2005, and the first opinion I received was relating about reprogramming the key which didn't work...and now I had been told that the ignition cylinder or its sensor is broken, but again another specialist proved that it is not related to that sensor or something else...I am still fighting to solve it...I got 4 weeks now with it stuck at home!
